Austin Travel Posters

Originally created in 2023, this collection of Austin, Texas travel posters is a project I continue to love and revisit from a new perspective. The series uses a national park-inspired illustration style to reinterpret some of Austin’s most recognizable and picturesque locations through the lens of a tourist.

When I first created these posters, Austin was a place I was imagining and exploring from the outside. Now that I live here, the project has taken on a different meaning. Seeing these locations firsthand has given me a fresh appreciation for the places I originally chose to illustrate and a new perspective on how Austin presents itself to visitors and residents alike.

What started as a personal exploration of illustration and place-based design has become a project that feels especially relevant to my work today. It reflects my interest in creating visual work that connects people to a place, and my growing connection to the Austin community itself.
